1977 Ford Thunderbird being sold at NO RESERVE to help settle an estate. Just found after 5 years storage in a South Dakota barn. This car has been sitting undriven for about 5 years. Before that it was only driven very little. The car is complete including the original factory floor mats. The only things we did to it was add gas, charge the battery and wash the outside. We started the car and drove it around a few blocks and it ran just fine. It probably needs a good tune-up to run a bit smoother but we had no trouble with it. The brakes are a bit spongy and probably needs the lines bled. The only modifications, if you can call it that, is the addition of an electric fuel pump. We also noticed a newer battery, newer tires and master brake cylinder. Other than that it is pretty much all original. Still has the original spare that looks like it was used once. The car is virtually rust free as you can see in the pictures. The only spot we could find any rust at all was where the trunk weather-stripping goes. The rest of the car is rust free on top and bottom. The only flaws we could find is that the original clear coat is starting to peel off, the drivers side front molding has a small dent and the right front fender has a tiny dimple you can't see in the pictures. We never touched the interior except for driving it. The seats are leather and in great condition. Aside from a good cleaning the only thing the interior needs is perhaps dying the front seat. Everything on the dash works work's except the clock. The car has factory air conditioning that probably needs recharging. This is a nice original low mileage car and we listed everything as best we could. I have no doubt the a qualified car restorer/collector may find other things that need attention but we don't know what they may be. We are selling the car at NO RESERVE to the highest bidder in an "as-is, where-is" condition without any warranty or guarantee of any kind.
