Excellent original condition 1971 Dodge D100 sweptline. This is a completely rust free truck, still has all of the original undercoating. I don't like using the term rare however this one was a special order truck in 71. 383 big block V8 with AC. 8 lug wheels with overload springs in the back and a heavy front suspension. Has a brand new 4 barrel Edelbrock carb, points, condenser, rotor, wires, air filter, & battery. Also has aftermarket long tube headers with full dual exhaust and Holly valve covers. Brakes are also new. Runs and drives great. This thing came from California so it doesn't have any rust and the body is very straight. The truck has most of the trim but is missing a few pieces. The seat fabric is in good shape but the padding is worn out on the back of the seat. Radio is missing. The tailgate doesn't latch because someone cut the side of it - the tailgate is the worst part of the truck. Header is too close to the starter and makes for hard starting when hot. Needs additional heat shield or a mini starter. Throw some matching rims on this thing and some paint and you'll have a real nice show truck or race hauler - this truck is built to pull. Has a nice after market hitch and a huge rear bumper. This is only going to be on here one time so bid to win. Also for sale locally so I reserve the right to end the auction early.
