I'm offering up my 87 IROC for sale. The car itself I have owned for about 7 years and has a little over 154,000 thousand miles on the body. The entire drivetrain is new with a street friendly, pump gas engine which is whats in the car now. I want to sell this Camaro so that I can modify my new Corvette. Here is a brief rundown of parts, etc, off the top of my head. I want to sell the car complete with any and all extra parts I have for it( I have a lot of spare parts), or I would be willing to let it go as a roller with the body and interior complete along with the 9" rear- just no motor, trans, etc for $5,000. ***388 cid sbc(Runs on 93 Octane)***10.2:1 compression and built for 6-10 psi boost with a blowthru*** Seasoned 4 bolt main 010 block 4.060 bore Forged Manley 3.75 crank(internal balanced) Forged Eagle H beam 6.0 rods Forged Mahle 2 valve relief flat top pistons Custom grind Howards solid roller blower/N20 cam 247/247 @ 50 & 624 lift with 1.6 rockers Brand new AFR #1103 heads 2.10/1.6 8mm valves and 710 lift springs Chad Speir prof ported Brodix HV1001 Dominator Intake Proform 750 carb/Pertronix ignition Diamond Forged 8" pushrods Trick Flow rockers and AFR Girdle ***All machine work done by Martin Machine and assembled by myself, over $8,000 into the engine*** (ALL NEW PARTS) ***TH400 auto manual, forward pattern built by Ziggys Transmissions in Pemberton NJ*** All new lip and clad Kolene seals, red alto clutches, 34 element HP sprag and direct drum, HD forward clutch hub, custom valve body, etc. Deep Alum finned drain pan, 10" TCI 3500 stall converter with anti balloon plate, huhges race cooler and -6 lines/fittings ***There is about $2600 into the trans/converter & cooler*** ***The car has all UMI and South Side suspension, LCA TQ Arm relocation & trans member sway bar, panhard bar, Koni shocks/struts, moroso springs etc. ***About $2,000 into suspension parts ***The car has a 2 year old, $4,500 PAINT JOB/BODY RESTO and looks fantastic! Car is flame red with a back cloth interior which is also in excellent condition. *** Car has a 11 gallon rear mounted Ed Quay fuel cell *** Dougs Ceramic headers 1 3/4" & 3" all into a full 4" mufflex and a top 10 flowmaster muffler ***The headers and exhaust were $1800 ***The car has all -8 fuel line, windows tinted, full auto-meter gauges and B&M Shifter *** BE COOL aluminum rad with custom aluminum support, 480 dual 13" electric flex fans (This cooling module alone is over $1200) ***Currie 9+ crate rear end with Currie 11" drum brake kit, full posi with 4:57 ratio ($4200 for the complete crate rear end, brake kit, and sway bar relocators, also a extra new set of 3.25 ring and pinion) ***88-90 rims with stock front tires (BRAND NEW) and Mickey T's 255's out back (The 2 tires and 2 slicks are at least 90% life or more and cost $750) I have well over $25,000 into this car, my loss is your gain. With the highway gears installed in the rear the car would be totally streetable. With the high gearing and the slicks, please be prepared to have this car trailered to its new location. This car has not been raced or abused, it has only been driven on the weekends and to local car shows. Adult mechanic owned and maintained. The motor, trans, and rear all have only 436 local street miles on them since NEW. The entire setup is just barely broken in and is tuned and dialed in perfectly for its new owner.
