Vehicle Detail
In my opinion, the 1963 Stingray is the prettiest Corvette ever made. This car is original. The paint is Silver Blue. It has been repainted with clear coat. This car is a driver, not a show car. It has been driven less than 50 miles each year since 1990 and has been garaged with a double car cover when not driven. It has not been parked in a parking lot since 1990. The engine, transmission, and rear end were all rebuilt approximately 40,000 miles ago. The Mileage is 170,343. Indicate 70,343. It has not been restored, the upholstery is original and in good condition. One crack on the dashboard and a small pin hole where a stiff piece of spring extends on both seats. They are not visible except by close inspection. The drivers rug needs to be replaced and the distributor needs a new shaft for the tachometer to function. The numbers match, the engine rebuild was caused by a broken crank, probably original flaw. The engine has the 340 hp Corvette camshaft with solid lifters (097), aftermarket intake manifold, carburetor and headers. I have the original intake, carburetor, and air filter. The car runs very strongly. This car is ready to drive. If you want to take it on long trips, then you need younger tires and a thorough check of all the suspension. Naturally there are many little "old car" things that are not perfect.
