Vehicle Detail
Yea it needs some final "TLC'n" based on ones desires. But let me tell you what already is done.318 Engine fires right up and runs smooth.I had the Torqueflite rebuilt by Clay County Transmission Builders (Jacksonville Fl) with a mild shift kit. $1200 invested. Still has 10 months warranty and new owner gets the documentation.Spent over $1400 getting the front end rebuilt. Can use a new passenger side upper control arm which I just can not find. Documentation to be provided. It is the 3200 lb front axle if someone can assist me here. Also new front disc brakes including bearing housing.New rocking dual exhaust. Flowmasters that rock but turns into a nice hum at cruise. Previous owner had all new lights, stake bed deck, and wood deck railing installed. Claims 3k involved.New rear oversize tires. By previous owner. $800.I changed the oil to full synthetic Delo 15w-40 plus zinc/phos. (and filter).Big giant battery. No problems cranking right up.Big loud speakers behind seat powered by an aftermarket radio. That is not me but may be you.Hard to believe, but no leaks or drips. All lights and wipers work. What it needs if you feel like it:Window seals dry. (windshield and rear ok). No cracked glass.Heater switch does not fully close heat valve. And fan runs on low speed constantly. So opened windows and vents needed when hot. (suggest an in-hose valve in the heater hose as part of your TLC'n). This truck never had and wouldn't know what to do with AC. (Was originally a government truck - has tag and rustproofing tag on door sill).Horn don't work because some one removed it. Wires there.Speedo, temp gauge, and fuel gauge work. But aftermarket volt and oil pressure gauges not hooked up.Although rust proofed when new for government standards, there is some rust north of the rain gutter. Again your degree of TLC up to you. Those overhead clearance lights all work and is quite a conservation piece at night. Trying to being upfront, but please do not get the impression this truck is a major project. You can drive off now. And hey, it is kind of fun. And quite an attention getter. You know the drill. No warranty. Buyer responsible for shipping and pick up. 250 bucks due within 48 hours for deposit. Rest within 7 days. Too many toys. This one is taking up valuable space. Mixed emotions but has to go. NO RESERVE! Have some fun with this truck. Bid on! On Jul-11-14 at 07:38:17 PDT, seller added the following information: The truck is for sale locally. I reserve the right to end this auction early, should the truck be no longer available.
