I had to relist this because the last winning bidder didn't have the funds to purchase it. PLEASE DO NOT BID IF YOU DON'T HAVE THE FUNDS TO PAY. Serious buyers only!!! What you are looking at is a rare 1987 Audi Coupe GT Quattro. I purchased this car out of Manchester, UK and shipped it here to South Carolina in September 2012. This is the European spec vehicle. VIN # is WAUZZZ85ZHA023910, it was hard to list the VIN in the initial form so here it is! The Good:- It has the naturally aspirated 2.2L 5 cylinder engine. I have had the head rebuilt 3,000 miles ago and the engine's been re-tuned by JK Automotive in Summerville, SC- The exhaust has been been rebuilt from the downpipes on, the sound of it has a powerful sound as you throttle it- The wiring harness has been partially rewired professionally by Horner Bros. Auto Electrics in England for reliability- The interior has been fully re-stitched in Black leather with Red piping- Rare 16" Team Dynamics wheels- No dings or dents- It drives strong without any hesitations The Bad:- Underbody corrosion in some spots including some bubbling under some paint areas (see pics)- Suspension needs attention, my recommendations are new polyflex bushings and re powder coating of the complete suspension- The clutch works fully, but the pedal has about an inch of play. It's fairly typical of Audis this age- Passenger side window regulator is bad- Some of the interior bits are loose, but easy to fix Overall, it is a very solid car which can easily be used as a daily driver if desired. I drove it to the EuroNation 2014 Car Show on 6/21 and placed 1st over the other Audis in my class!! (see pic) sorry, trophy not included in the sale. Arrangements to view the car are welcomed by appointment. I drive it about 2-3 days a week and enjoy it wholeheartedly. It's completely garage kept and the sound of the exhaust note is one of the coolest I've heard. It's hard for me to part ways with this, but due to the new toy I just purchased, I need to sell it on to someone that can take it to the next level to fine tune it completely. I'm starting the bid cheap with no reserve, at this price it's a complete steal! I'm pretty sure there's not many Coupe GT Quattros imported to the US.
