You are bidding on a rare, all original (except recent paint) Volvo P1800 S sports car. This is the same model used in the movie the Saint (James Bond) and for a renowned owner in NYC that has one with over 2 million miles. These are such fun cars to drive and own with minimal maintenance compared to other British or European sports cars. This P1800 S - is the Swedish built model, which means it is much better quality than the non-S designation. The care has not been molested in anyway. Interior, dashboard, gauges, etc. are all original where many have had dash boards cut-up to put in stereo's etc. The wool carpets are even all original and have been professionally removed, cleaned and put back in the car. The only real challenge with the car are the gauges which is pretty typical of Smiths gauges. The tachometer works fine, but speedometer, temp and clock do not work. Turn signals don't work - could be just a fuse but have not had time to check. As stated, I have purchase replacements for gauges but have not installed. The car has new tires, brakes, master and slave cylinder. (Alway good to be able to stop) Other than that the car has just been maintained and enjoyed. Body is in great shape and was repainted about 5 or so years ago - car is rust free, solid floor pans, rockers, fenders, etc. Only has a few small dents and allegation cracks as paint job was average. Car was not restored to be a show car, but solid driver. I have the front bumper (not shown in the pictures) it is in great shape. I just liked the look of the car better without it - Cobra look.
