1985 Pontiac Trans Am with 56,422 original miles. This Trans am was parked in an attached semi. heated garage and not driving since 1995. It was in fine running condition when parked. Parked because of having a family and not a good family car. Because it has been sitting for so long the gas is bad in the gas tank. The bad gas has also made the electric fuel pump go bad. The belts also had been frozen on the pulleys and were cut to make sure the engine does run. Cut belts are included in the car. Engine runs good on carb spray with good oil pressure. I have been working 12 hr days and have not had time to drop the tank and change the fuel pump. So that means car will be sold AS-IS not running but will run with a new fuel pump and tank cleaning out. Brake pedal is hard so lines should be good. The body is in very good original condition. The only rust is a very small spot starting on the right 1/4 panel under lip. Underside frame is very clean. Some surface on axle ect.as you can see in the picture's. Before parked it did have new struts put on the front and new shocks on the rear. Radiator is full and good. When I pulled it out of the garage all four BF Goodrich T/A tires were flat and shot so I put a set of used takeoff tires on just to roll it out so it will need a new set of tires when ready to put back on the road. In pictures I have not put rears back on yet but that will be done before sale of car. Hood and trunk hatch hydrolic lift rods will need replaced. For some reason the door key for the rear hatch is not working. Might just need some wd-40 Interior of car is nice. Has Recaro bucket seat's. Foam on driver's outer side edge is smashed down some. Material is good so you just need to put in a little foam to repair it. The cloth on the headliner was hanging down back in 1994 so the headliner was takin out and over the years the headliner hard cardboard part got thrown away. This will need to be replaced. This is a 2 owner car with the second owner purchaseing it in 1988. The original title was lost so a duplicate title was issued by the IL. DMV. I am listing it to see if there is any interest.
