Des Plaines Honda Motorcycles. Up for auction is a 1996 Honda VT600 Shadow Chopper project bike. This bike needs work and currently does not run but the engine does turn. The bike was traded into our dealership recently. The bike features aftermarket pipes, turn signals, custom seat, grips, pegs and custom headlight. The bike has extended forks, custom paint, a modified fuel tank (see pic) and chopped fenders.This would make a great project bike for someone looking to build a cheap custom chopper or bobber. The bike has a clear title and this bike is being sold "AS-IS and Shown" with no warranty. No reserve auction! Highest bidder wins! Our shop is open Monday - Friday 10:00am to 6:00pm, and Saturdays from 9:00am to 5:00pm central time. Please feel free to come by our shop and view the items for bid (Please phone first so we may have items ready for you.). The bike is sold as-is with no warranty. This bike must be picked up at our shop, WE DO NOT SHIP! We accept postal money orders, cash and credit cards (up to $2500.00 per vehicle transaction). Illinois residents and reciprocal sales tax states please add for tax, license and title. All purchasers must add $166.27 documentation cost. For purchases over $1000.00 a deposit of $1000.00 is due within 3 days of notification of a winning bid, with the balance due within 7 days of notification. We do not ship bikes but we are glad to cooperate with your shipper. THIS AUCTION IS LIMITED TO U.S. RESIDENTS ONLY. Titles will be sent to purchasers, by FedEx, approximately 10 days after final payment. We reserve the right to end this auction early. We advertise bikes in other sources.
