Vehicle Detail

DON'T BE A LOSER - LOSER'S BID AND DON'T BUY. ONLY BID IF YOU INTEND TO PURCHASE. What you're bidding on: Traction, Comfort and Durability, in most likely one of, if not the cleanest, 1988 Broncos available. Click on one of the Photo Bucket boxes below, then click on "slideshow". They've jacked up the order of the pics, but there still great pics and 50 of them! Adds: Detroit True Trac Gear Driven Limited Slip Front Differential with 4.10 Gearing. Detroit Locker Positive Locking Rear Differential with 4.10 Gearing. Six Point Interior Roll Cage. 6" Extended Radius Arm Pro Comp Lift Kit, complete with Six (dual front) shocks and dual steering stabilizers. 35/12.5R/15 BFG KM2 Mud Terrain Tires - estimated 65% tread remaining. I noticed (looking through the pics) that one tire appears to have more wear. It DOES NOT - all are even, it's just the angle of the photo. Einke Aluminum Wheels. Receiver Hitch - For Bike Carrier Only - Never Towed CO2 Canister - set up to Air Tires and can run air tools too! CB Radio Satellite Ready JVC Audio Deck with CD/Bluetooth/USB input. Upgraded Speakers. Front View Camera - Allows viewing obstacles in front of vehicle - sorry pic of screen has a lot of reflection, but you can see the chrome strip at the bottom is the bumper and there is a fire hydrant above that... again sorry for the poor pic. The long Story - maybe read after you feast your eyes upon this beautiful piece below. I set out to build a rig that is extremely comfortable and reliable for camping, touring the trails and the intermittent tough challenge. Therefore I chose the full size Ford Bronco. This rig is the favorite "Go Fast Build", in the off road world because of its compliant suspension over the rough stuff. While this unit is NOT set up as a "Go Fast" it will cover the rough terrain in comfort at reasonable speed and when you "air down" the tires, wash boarded gravel roads are traversed with quite frankly unbelievable comfort. Of course you can air the tires back up in minutes with the included CO2 tank! Anyhow.... I had a dilemma, in that I purchased the cleanest, lowest mileage (basically stock) Bronco I could find and would either give it modest upgrades with a winch (to pull myself out of the inevitable "stuck" situation), or build a rig that is extremely difficult to get stuck. Not liking any of the available winch bumpers and wanting to keep as close to stock (on steroids) look as I could, I opted for the latter and it has exceeded my expectations. I work with Ford Motor Company and have access to some of the best techs in the country and am also fortunate enough to have a brother in law who is the most skilled, custom fab / tool building / problem solving person I know AND he's willing to work on my Bronco! What I'm saying is: This rigs been cared for! It's had a brand new A/C compressor converted to 134A by a Ford tech who's been in the business for over thirty years. He incidentally recommended a compressor from a different model year Bronco - because they last longer. I put a radiator in myself a while back and it's had a new water pump, fan clutch - also recommended by my A/C guy (now that I think about it) because he thought it should blow "just a bit colder" - yeah he was right, it did. New double cardon joint for rear drive shaft, both fuel pumps and all relatively recent. Oil changes every three, like I said "cared for" and reliable. It's been my daily driver for the last three or so years and I would not hesitate to drive it across the country. I do drive it all over the state for the activities described above. Mostly garage kept (even before I had it), the paint is very good. There are some very minor dings that have not effected the paint and some larger "waves/dents" on both doors and the rear quarter panel on the driver side, which also have not effected the paint. There is a 1/2" x 1/2" rather deep ding that has taken the paint on the passenger door (see pic). I've done my best to represent these in the pics and they are difficult to spot - basically only you and I will ever know / realize they are there. I've tried to provide (and believe you'll agree) a thorough and ethical representation of this vehicle. I believe my "buy now" price is extremely fair and obviously less than I have put into this rig, but I've had fun with it and it has done everything I've ever asked of it and those things are never free. I can't imagine you would ever experience any buyers remorse should you win this auction, or buy now.
