For Sale, Beautiful 1976 Trans-Am, all restoration done about one year ago. The car drives super tight and straight, it has power steering and power disc brakes. This car can be driven anywhere with confidence. The engine is the origional 400 cu.in. and rebuilt with less than 1000 miles on it. It has a mild cam with roller rockers, an Edelbrock intake and headers. The engine compartment is very clean and detailed. The estimated horsepower is about 350.The turbo trans was replaced with a 700R with overdrive so cruising on the highway at 65 the rpm's are at 2200. The rearend is a 3:73 posi unit and rebuilt. The car has beautiful black paint with a red interior that just sets off the black paint. The interior has no rips or busted seams. It has power windows and power door locks. It also retains the orig. am/fm radio with an 8 track player. The orig radio has been disconnected and a new after marker radio an c/d player installed in the glove box. This car needs nothing except maybe the Firebird chicken on the hood. When the car was repainted I choose not to put it on, just personal choice. All other Trans-Am badging is there. The decal can be bought at many of the after market places. The rims are factory, and in excellent condition with no curb rash or marks. The tires have about 1000 miles on them. I'm selling the car to make room for my next project I have set the reserve low on this car, you couldn't rebuild this car for what the reserve is. The car is sold with no warranty and the buyer is responsable for the shipping, but I will assist in anyway I can.
