Garage kept its whole life and has never seen a drop of rain! The Woody was originally Dark Gray in color but was repainted to 1948 Ford Tucson Tan. In the early 90’s the Woody was refurbished. The work that was done is as follows, the woodwork was stripped and varnished, the glass and all rubber gaskets were replaced. New stainless brake lines, New master cylinder and wheel cylinders. (New, not a kit) New grill and emblems. Seats upholstery and top replaced. The Power Plant in this Woody is a rebuilt 57 Chevy 283. Carburetor and generator have been rebuilt. Heater box has been removed prior to us having this car. It does have a Hurst motor adaptor to the original transmission and a rare rear original gravel pan between body and rear bumper. The car can be easily converted back to original flat head V-8 with engine and bell housing.
