Available behind that grille is a larger PowerStroke diesel engine. The 6.4 liter truck delivers an impressive 650 pound-feet of torque and 350 horsepower fit to haul anything. Nice features on this engine are the twin turbochargers - a small one for quick response off the line and a larger one that kicks in to beef up the midrange, and common-rail fuel injection with high-tech injectors. Because these injectors administer fuel in up to five metered spurts per combustion cycle rather than all at once, reliability is improved, emissions are reduced and the engine even runs quieter. You notice that from the moment you start the truck. The transmission shifts smooth and engine has lots of power and quick response. Truck runs very strong, has great acceleration, and great stability on the road. Drives like a dream, feels like you are driving a new truck. No leaks, no smoke. EXTERIOR The truck is as clean as you can get. Being a southern truck you now there are no surprises and specially no rust. The blue and tan/burgundy color combination give this truck a nice look. 20” Pro Comp chrome wheels and running boards make this truck looks very sharp. Once you have a tailgate with step you won’t ever want a regular gate again. INTERIOR Interior is clean and overall excellent condition. Leather on seats and carpet is in great condition. Dash looks nice and neat. All power windows, door locks, power mirrors work. Truck has the power fold, power extend mirror. Also, rear view mirror is set up for a backup camera, but here is no camera on the actual tailgate handle. WORK DONE As mentioned earlier we bought the truck from a insurance auction. Truck originally had 111470 miles. The motor would not start, so it was replaced. Engine is out of a 2010 F250 with 20k miles. We also installed the king ranch interior. There was damage to the driver side of the truck, and since we don’t like bundle, we replaced the LH fender, LH front and rear doors, front and rear bumpers and bed. The entire exterior was painted by a body shop with spray booth. We installed the chrome wheels and running boards. Every work was done with attention to detail, in such way to meet factory specifications. Truck looks all factory and it’s really hard to ever guess what happened just by looking at the truck.
