Original owner, purchased in December 1999 and subject of a 6 year project. Completed in 2006, garage kept since then. Last DynoJet pull was 460rwhp (see Maxwell graph); that was before the Comp Stage 2 cams and optimized tune - it is likely > 480 rwhp now and in range of 500 with further tuning and race gas. Mileage approx. 49000 on original frame, approx. 28000 on current short block/heads. The car runs extremely well and is a HOOT to drive -- total experience. Invested an insane amount of money, I know I am selling it at a HUGE loss – that’s okay, I had a good time. Interests have changed, have health issues -- need the money. Pete Kotzur (Kotzur Racing) designed/built 4.6L (283ci) SOHC engine, utilizing 2000 cast short block, 2000 PI heads, 2000 crank, CP forged pistons (17cc dish, 9.5:1 compression), Eagle rods, Sean Hyland oil pump gears 2.) Stage 2 porting on PI heads and SVO intake, port matched to heads by Pete Kotzur 3.) Comp stage 2 cams, springs and retainers, installed by Jim Pashall of (JimTune) 4.) SVO shorty headers, Bassani X-pipe (hi-flow cats), Borla exaust 5.) Vortech V2 supercharger, configured for 8lbs boost, A-pillar boost gauge 6.) Anderson PowerPipe 7.) Intercooler designed and installed by Motion Dynamics 8.) 32lb injectors 9.) Focus fuel pump, fuel regulator with A-pillar fuel pressure gauge 10.) Canton 7 quart pan 11.) Professional ECU tuning by Jim Pashall (JimTune) 12.) Tremec TKO 5 speed transmission, short throw Steeda shifter 13.) SPEC stage 3 clutch with Steeda firewall adjuster 14.) Aluminum driveshaft and drive loop 15.) Built rear-end consisting of F150 clutch packs and Superior 31 spline axles 16.) Brembo calipers and 13” rotors in front 17.) Ford SVO wheels with Nitto 555 tires 18.) Welded frame rails 19.) Battery re-located to trunk 20.) Aluminum radiator with dual fan 21.) Tokiko struts with Precision Machine Camber/Caster plates 22.) Illuminated white face gauges 23.) Kenny Bell Boost A Pump and Boost A Spark 24.) Panasonic AM/FM/CD in dash coupled to original Ford/Sony Mach460 sound system 25.) Misc. other minor appearance/performance related mods 26.) Fully streetable, last inspected in 2011, garage kept since then, no modifications Known Issues: 1.) A/C needs coolant recharge (compressor bump start), otherwise A/C is sound & functional 2.) Small dent/scrape on passenger side door (see pics) 3.) Pinion angle on differential is set incorrectly and as such, car will “hitch” when coasting in gear (needs adjustment) 4.) The Spec clutch chatters on engagement (normal for a Stage 3 clutch rated to 600 HP, you get used to it) 5.) Two small holes in driver dash bezel where LED’s for a methanol injection system was installed. The methanol system was removed from the vehicle when the intercooler was installed 6.) No fog lights – needed the space for intercooler (fair trade…) 7.) Small crack on drivers bezel under a magnet I installed to hold cell phone 8.) 3M vinyl on blue stripes has degraded slightly (needs Armor-all and wax) 9.) Steeda rear wing has two cracks and clear coat peel in one place, does not affect structural integrity, needs bondo and re-paint 10.)
