1966 Chevy C-10 Panel TruckVery cool project vehicle for someone. Comes with a small block Chevrolet (327 cu in we think based on the heads) and automatic transmission. These appear to be original but we have not checked the numbers. Local Chevrolet dealer told us their VIN database didn't go back that far. What we can tell is that the vehicle originally came with an auto trans which was rather unusual for these work trucks. The V8 is strong and runs well. The auto trans was just serviced and is in good condition. The previous owner has installed newer style seats and sprayed the dash (very nice job on the dash by the way). I have been under the truck, it appears very solid no rust in the floor pan. The Rocker panels have been repaired/replaced they are tacked on, they did not run a full bead the length of the repair. There are some minor rust places on the driver side door jam next to chrome strip where carpet starts. The back "bed" of the truck is plywood, not planked wood as original. The bed has been covered with carpet. The interior side walls have composite wood material (like you would use on the inside of a roof I suppose) ran up the inside. These will come off. The rear quarter panels have been repaired properly. Rear door wells are in good shape as are the doors. Overall this is in good condition, but needs some body work and paint.You can come by and look at the truck, crawl under over and around it if you wish. Just let us know and we will make arrangements. We are located in the Heart of Mayfield Kentucky just off the I-69 corridor (Purchase Parkway y'all).
