This 77 BMW R100 is a great running bike. It is rough cosmetically but mechanics are good. Has a new battery, floating disc, deep sump, Koni's, snowflake mags, BUB exhaust, reynolds stand. It fires right up and is a dependable steed. I did 350 miles on it yesterday through rain and shine and it performed great. I've been riding it for about 6 months trouble free. The bad - paint is spray can olive drab and flat black, very ugly and warn (i think it looks ok), instrument housing has taken a whack at some point in its life but the speedo and odo/trip meter work good. Tach is busted as are the idiot lights. Tires are Shinko off/on road. Front has some life but rear needs to be replaced. Hi-lo switch is broken so only has low beam although both beams work - will need a new switch at left handlebar. Corbin seat is comfy but stitching has let go on front, needs tobe re-covered. I added the vintage tank cover with pockets to cover up OD paint job. Cover is in fair shape. I also will let my vintage Harro tank bag go with the bike. I bought that tank bag new 30 years ago, fits bike good so its a bonus. Clear FL title in my name. If you are looking for a great mule / workhorse of a bike this is a good choice. I've had a bunch of airhead BM's in my time and this runs as good or better than most. Don't let the cosmetics fool you, this is a good one. It would also make a good cafe or restoration project.
