"ZOOMIERAT" is a 1940 CHEVY 6.5 GM DIESEL RATROD 1\4 MILE ET\BRACKET DRAG TRUCK BRACKET\ET This is a one of a kind truck WE DID ALL THE WORK OURSELVES READ EVERYTHING PLEASE !!! The frame is professionally welded 2X box beam "Z'd" In the rear We have a unique custom built 40 Chevy diesel rat pickup. I drive this truck at the track and its cool factor is just as good as it drives. Starting from the front: 1929 grille shell custom handmade made Spider Web grille Opel GT front end Opel Manta disc brakesOriginally a Turbo motor (have the stock set of turbo manifolds and intake pipe) GM 6.5 Diesel V8 approx 60k ( with Zoomie style exhaust hence how it got its name)Military Injection pump Marine InjectorsHollowed out 6:71 blower for an air box\cleaner ( have all the parts for the blower if needed)2 Speed Power-Glide manual valve body, shift kit an Ultra-Bell Custom drive shaft running to a Ford 9" 3:50 gear Ratio (almost 100% positive on that)4-link Coil-over shocks Tires are mounted on Centerlines The tires are all Hoosiers not sure exact size profile of the front but there what we call pizza cutters good lines left on them, The back are 29x12 15" Mounted on Jegs good meat left on those also. Rear mounted aluminum radiator Old military generator fuel tank (for Diesel) The front window does crank open for the hot days as do the side windows roll up and down just fine. The truck is fun to drive is super consistent.
