This stunning 1936 Ford V8 has just been removed from 20+ years of storage, and has been given to The Elegance at Hershey concours. The Elegance at Hershey is auctioning off this spectacular car to the highest bidder, with ALL (100%) proceeds going to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF)! Not part, not 10%, but ALL! It features a later Mercury flathead V-8 with a 4-speed transmission, and hydraulic brakes. We recently pulled it out of long-term storage! The paint is shiny but has some rust flakes coming through the paint in various areas.It is a reddish-orange with black fenders. Very presentable. We have rebuilt the starter and installed a new battery. The brake master cylinder and wheel cylinders have been rebuilt. The carb and fuel pump were disassembled and clean. The fuel tank is very clean on the inside! The right side water pump is frozen. Solid. Won't budge. Will need a pulley too as it is broken. NOTE: The original engine and transmission will come with the car. It is included in the price of the sale. Pennsylvania title in transit. We have not driven the car any distance because of the one water pump being frozen. We recommend that the car have the water pump replaced and the entire car be gone over before considering driving the car anywhere.
