So to grandma's house we go my four year old and I.Stopped at a neighbors house to show my son an example of a well preserved vw bus. The garage door is always closed but today the gentleman was home and happy to show us the bus. In 1996 while performing general maintenance such as injectors and tank removal the owner had an injury and never resumed working on the bus.Up in years now he was ready to free up space in the garage. He bought it brand new and has always stored it indoors.original miles are stated as actual on the title. There is a plexiglass wind screen for the sunroof while open to keep out rain and I have never seen one of these before. I asked about it and he said it came with the bus new(original equipment).Everything about this bus is near perfect.few rock chips on the front,dent and scratch here and there but very glossy paint WITHOUT wax.Interior is equally clean never smoked in and floor mats are perfect and show no signs of rot.Nobody knows where the hubcaps are and the tires need to be replaced. The rear side markers are included they are just off in pictures to have the little plastic rivets replaced that tend to break. I am also going to list my 1970 westfalia that's been in progress for six years and just recently on the road. Whichever sells I'll keep the other but one has got to go. Self employed, wife in school, two small children, you get the picture. I am the second owner and have only had it a couple months.Its so clean I feel it needs to be garaged in someones collection.
