I'm a private seller living in Charleston, SC. I'm downsizing after retirement so "Herr Blau" (Mr Blue) goes up for sale. Always garage kept and responsibly ridden by a 65 year old, lifetime motorcycle rider. It comes with a Cee Bailey's touring windshield -- 21" tall and clear (installed). Cee Bailey's mounting bracket is used. Note: the gallery picture shows the actual motorcycle with a fly screen, sport windshield (not included). You will also notice the LED, front fork mounted safety lights. They are wicked bright and can be adjusted for brightness or turned off. Switch is on the fork (see picture). It comes with BMW's system hard cases, keyed to the ignition key. Both keys and remotes are included as well as owner's manual and tool kit. Tires have plenty of mileage on them and have always been carefully inflated to factory specs. I bought it from the Charleston BMW dealership with 1604 miles on the odometer. In the 5 months I've owned it, I've added just under 2500 careful miles. It's had a warranty battery replacement at 1800 miles and a new fuel strip at 4000 miles -- both installed by the dealership's excellent BMW mechanic. This model comes with factory security system and 2 remotes. Push the button and it arms the alarm and disabling system. The BMW manufacturer's warranty is still active and has a year to go. It routinely gets about 50mpg on the highway and effortless cruises at freeway legal speeds (and beyond). It always starts right up and is instantly ready to go. Lots of passing power. This has the 4-valve oil cooled heads. I have long legs and standard seat is comfortable. This model does NOT have electronic suspension or traction control but it does have factory ABS and linked brakes. I have clear title in my possession. Buyer is responsible for retrieving the motorcycle. If you want it shipped I'll be glad to assist the shipper but the cost is buyer's responsibility. I have priced it to sell quickly.
