I traded up for a little bigger bike, even though this one has a lot of snot... I saw a new unpainted front front fender for this bike going for $499.00 on ebay, so at that rate the bike should be worth about $75,000.00 :) This seems to be a sought after collectors bike and is in very beautiful shape. This bike starts and runs like new, then starts fouling the plug after an hour or two of riding. We honed out the cylinder, install new rings, lapped the valves, etc.. this winter, and it started on the 1st kick, and runs beautifully, so it's not the engine. I did "Not" have a mechanic work on the carb, but a professional mechanic did look at the disassembled carb and all the pieces seemed fine to him, and were barely worn, but their was some residue that could be cleaned out... It is running rich and I don't know how to tune carbs and didn't want to spend $75 and hour having someone fiddle with it for hours, wanted a little bigger bike anyway, so with a little effort someone can have an awesome collectable bike for cheap$$$$. I think if the carb was taken apart and cleaned in an ultrasound bath it may run great. It has very low mileage (3211) and all the parts and bolts are like new on this bike, it's unbelievable! I switched it over to a 12 volt system with its own 12 volt deep cycle battery that will run everything for hours before a recharge. On May-28-14 at 19:29:29 PDT, seller added the following information: This is a revision to the last revision and a little more info as I think of more things. It used to only run for about 15 minutes before fouling the plug then I put a half can of Sea Foam in the tank and it now runs beautifully for over an hour before the plug starts to foul. I put a new plug in and it runs fantastic again, and have not taken it out since to see how long it will run, but maybe that's all it needed was a good run with the Sea Foam in it? The Bike also comes with an extra mirior, a Clymer Shop Manual, and the original metal tool kit, without the tools too. I'll add more info as I think of it. You're getting a beautiful bike here.
