This car is in excellent running condition and is 100% turn key ready. This is a very smooth running engine with very crisp throttle response. The entire car was stripped and dissasembled down to just the bare chassis. All of the doors, hood, trunk, interior, glass, chrome, etc... all came off or out of the car to complete a very thorough paint job. The body on the car is laser straight. The chrome bumpers and grill on the car are like new and in excellent condition. This car looks to retain all of its original panels including its original aluminum hood! All of the lights and lenses on the car are in excellent condition as well. This car is a 100% rust free with solid floors. The windshield has been completely resealed and fitted with a new triplex windshiled ($400 for the glass alone) and all new seals.The car is sitting on a beautiful set of wire wheels and really complete the look of this beautiful british sports car. Overall the exterior of the car is in excellent conditon! Click to enlarge Interior: The interior of this MGB is in excellent condition and virtually like new! The interior was recently reupholstered featuring gorgeous black seats with red pipping and look and feel great. The dash is very simple and straight forward with beautiful chrome lined Smiths gauges. The speedometer has been replaced with a GPS speedometer and is obviously extremely accurate. I do have the original gauge that I can include in the sale of the car as well. At first I was a little against the GPS speedo... but its great to have a speedo in a classic car that is actually acurate! The dashboard is original and is completely free of cracks. The area behind the seats was also carpeted making for a very nicely upholstered trunk compartment. The convertible top is in nice shape with no rips or tears!!! The steering wheel is the classic banjo which feels excellent in your hands. All of the gauges and lights work. Overall, I would say that the interior is in excellent shape!!! Click to enlarge Engine: The 1800cc four cylinder engine has been been rebuilt and starts up and runs like a top!!! One twist of the key is all it takes to start this car. The weber carb has been tuned to perfection!!! The engine fires right up and blowns no smoke on start up or while driving. This B sounds excellent with its full stainless steel exhaust system from header to tail pipe. The engine also has very strong oil pressure. The engine bay is virtually clean enough to eat off of. The transmission shifts through all of the gears and the shifter bushing was replaced and the shifter was topped with a new shift knob. The shift linkage really has a postive feel to the gear change. The car rides, steers and stops GREAT. The car tracks beautifully down the road and the disc brakes are strong and stop this car with ease. Both the clutch and master cylinders were rebuilt at the time of restoration giving both great braking feel and clutch feel. This really is a great driving MGB roadster that can be driven daily or just for fun on the weekends. The car is great fun to drive. Everything works, from the windshield wipers and all of the lights. These are great cars because they are very reliable and any part you might need is readily available and very inexpensive.
