This Matador was purchased BRAND NEW at Hollenback Motors in Spokane, Washington and has been owned by the same family in the Spokane area ever since !! It only has 97,735 ACTUAL - ORIGINAL MILES since purchased brand new !! It still retains the correctly mounted - FACTORY ORIGINAL - AMC driver's dor jam mounted data plate, FACTORY ORIGINAL - dash mounted VIN tag and it's FACTORY ORIGINAL - American Motors Dealer's window sticker, all of which are shown in several pictures below, TOO COOL !! 1973 was the LAST and BEST year of the first generation Matador's and they tell me it's the year to have !! I drove this car for the last several days as my everyday driver to and from the office and running errands as needed and I assure you this car runs and drives EXCELLENT !! It's tight with no squeeks or rattles and cruises down the freeway at 75 mph + effortlessly !! If you can make it to Boise in the next ten days please come look at and drive this Matador for yourself, you won't be disappointed !! THIS IS A QUALITY CAR FOR SURE !! This Matador still retains its STRONG - OPTIONAL - ORIGINAL - Code "H" - 304 CID V8 Motor and it is running very well indeed. The motor also still retains the ORIGINAL intake manifold, ORIGINAL exhaust manifolds, ORIGINAL valve covers, ORIGINAL air cleaner housing and it's ORIGINAL carb. The engine is backed by a - SMOOTH - OPTIONAL - "Torque Command" - three speed automatic transmission which is also functioning very well. Sounds good too with the factory style exhaust system. All of the ORIGINAL rubber weatherstripping is soft, supple and in GREAT condition for being original. This AMC matador is nicely equipped including a FACTORY HANDLING PACKAGE, factory power steering, factory power brakes, factory guage clusters including a 120 MPH speedometer, deluxe factory power intermittent wipers, factory front and rear seat belts, original day / night rear view mirror, original remote drivers side view exterior mirror, working original AMC AM radio, good heater and defroster, original clock which is no longer working, factory wing windows, factory back-up lights, factory tinted glass and optional factory undercoating. This BEAUTY has great looks and plenty of power as well ! There are not many of these left on the roads that are in this kind of BEAUTIFUL MOSTLY ORIGINAL SURVIVOR condition thats for sure. These vehicles have an appreciative group of owners any of which would be pleased to own this one. The suspension is in good working order as well as the electrical system.
