Vehicle Detail
This is a super straight and solid 1969 Dodge A100 Five Window Pickup. It's the most rare and desirable body configuration of the A100 series. Indicated mileage is 42k and it's possible that is all it's seen. The truck has extremely little rust and had none at all in the rockers or bottoms of the doors. Before the last 3 years of revival it had spent a quarter century resting peacefully in a barn in Washington. Much work has been done already, and it is a good running and driving rig that I have been enjoying cruising around my rural Washington farming town and surrounding areas. It is currently in white primer / sealer and ready for final body work and paint / interior. This rig really gets a lot of attention wherever it goes. It just looks so cute and friendly, and with the 2012 Charger wheels it also has that Mopar muscle vibe. Here are some of the things that have been done to it recently: Welded up holes in bed and stake pockets, modified tailgate chains to be on the inside of the bed for better appearance, new fuel sending unit in gas tank after tank was removed and flushed out, new fuel lines at engine and tank, new fuel pump, new motor mounts, 1970 Valiant engine with just over 70k installed, oil and filter changed twice to flush out engine, new cap, plugs, rotor, coil, pointless ignition with new module, all new radiator and heater hoses and clamps, painted and double insulated engine housing, flushed and replaced antifreeze twice, new brake pads and spring kits all around, new wheel cylinders all around, new master cylinder, new starter relay, new alternator. carb professionally rebuilt, new oil pan gasket and oil pump to engine gasket and probably other stuff I'm forgetting, but you get the idea. Wheels / tires have less than 500 miles on them, and any body defects left are very small - it's almost there. This rig is a perfect candidate for a show quality paint job and interior that you can finish to your own taste and preference. What could be better? Feel free to contact me with any questions.
