1971 Cadillac Superior Funeral Coach Looking for something a little different? Something totally custom from birth? Something that will turn heads? This is for YOU! This car is AMAZING! I bought it in Leach OK about four years ago. In the few years I have owned it I have... replace all of the break lines, replaced the valve cover gaskets ,done a valve job, rebuilt the carburetor (last year),replaced all four tires (last year, under 1,000 miles on them), had all of the rust cut out of the car and replaced it with new metal, had the body of the car completely repainted (with the original color), replaced the head gasket, replaced the fuel pump (last summer), replaced the alternator (last fall), had the original curtains repaired, replaced the wiring harness under the hood, replaced the battery, replaced the full exhaust including manifold gaskets, given it a full tune up and several other things that I am sure I am forgetting. I bought this car and did the work with the intent of keeping it forever but life has changed and I need the space. Like any old car, this one is a continuous work in progress. It still needs a few things here and there. If I were to continue with it, I would replace the carpet in the front portion, the seat needs recovered, the top is primed black and sealed (my intent was to Rhino coat it as the original top was crinkle paint). Since replacing the alternator, the gen light has been on. The car is charging fine. Likely, there is a ground touching somewhere, easy fix that I will try to track down if I get time. I got it out yesterday for the first time in three months, started right up and drove like a gem. The windshield has a small crack in the lower corner that circles around on itself, it isn't going to spread. There are a few door switches that stick for the interior lights, I recently found replacements and will give them with the car (not the easiest thing to find). All in all, it's a great car in great mechanical condition with all of the expensive body work complete. Please only bid if your serious. The car is in Gravois Mills MO. It would likely drive anywhere you'd want to take it but lets be honest, a transport truck might be cheaper than gas at 8 miles to the gallon. Thanks for looking, ask any questions you'd like.
