Vehicle Detail
Up for sale is a Super Rare '73 Mustang Convertible. What makes this car so rare is the option list. It includes: Power convertible top- last year for convertible for 10 years. Power front disc brakes. 351 Cleveland 4bbl. largest motor available at the time. Body side tape stripe. 4 speed manual transmission w/ Hurst shifter. Traction lock differential. 3.25 ratio. White knitted deluxe interior. Original interior is still in the car. Instrumentation group. Deluxe rim blow steering wheel. horn still works. Tilt steering wheel. Console w/ clock. Select air conditioning. AM/FM stereo radio. still works. Interval windshield wipers. Décor group. Tinted glass, complete. Power side windows. all working. Sport wheel covers. Competition suspension. Rear bumper guards. What makes this car more rare is the original owner was a manager at the Ford plant in Metucheon, New Jersey. There is a faded parking permit sticker on the window. I have the original warranty card, factory invoice, and the owners manual. I also have the "Elite" Marti report that comes framed with the window sticker, invoice, and the door tag as well as stats showing it to be a "ONE of ONE" indicating the vin, and is included in the sale. Now, the car condition: The car has not been molested. It has a Numbers matching drivetrain and has ALL of the original sheetmetal with solid floors and frame rails. It was undercoated long ago. The car is in unrestored "Driver " condition. I have replaced the top due to a hole in it, and I replaced the carpeting. Otherwise, the rest of the interior is original. The Original body had been painted to the original medium bright yellow long before I bought the car. The paint shines well, but does have some scratches and touch ups, but no rust. Inside the trunk is original and has no rot. This would be a great car to cruise & enjoy as is, or restore to a show piece. She runs well, is a pleasure to drive, and has been reliable. Feel free to contact me with questions, and inspections are welcome prior to the end of the auction. Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs, and the car will not be released until funds have cleared. I will accept wire transfer and paypal. I will help with the shipping company if needed. A deposit of $1,000.00 is due within 24 hours of the end of the auction, and the balance is due within 7 days of the end of the auction. Seller may end the auction at any time.
