1966 VW Dune Buggy Total Rebuild in July of 2009- (by the previous owner), the Greenville Fire Department, of Greenville WI, Then... It blew up! I guess the Greenville fire department sucks at rebuilding engines. WE JUST PUT A NEW REBUILT ENGINE IN IT!!! 5-20-2014 -Tear down to fiberglass frame -pulled everything -sand patch and paint (fire engine red)- painted all chrome parts flat black -1600cc single port engine bought and installed (JUNKED AND REPLACED 5-20-2014)-rebuilt carb (5-20-2014) -new carpet -patched floor -seat covers -new windshield -new dash-engine paint -new starter-new tie rods-new ball joints -new steering damper -Alignment was done @ Accurate Alignment Appleton. The body and under body are super clean, only has a few minor chips and scratches in the paint. The lower pan is completely rust free! Also, it has a wiring harness set up for towing and a tow bar that goes with the vehicle. Comes with a log book of all maintenance and the receipts! Runs great and looks really cool. Runs great, now that it has a new engine;) All of our dreams are dead, but yours don't have to be!
