You are bidding on a 1967 Alfa Romeo Duetto rolling chassis. I purchased this car about three years ago with the intent to restore it. The car has been professionally media blasted down the bare metal, and then it was primed at the body shop. After we removed all the original paint, it became obvious that the car has been in an accident and that the driver side front quarter panel has been replaced - fairly poorly if you ask me. The rest of the body is really solid, no bondo no rust. (Except perhaps the bottom lip of the trunk has a little rust spot - which was media blasted, cleaned, and primed). Hood is nice and straight, period correct. Engine compartment has also been cleaned and primed. The original color of the car is RED. The doors are in outstanding condition. The lines match very nice, the floors - which have been previously repaid - are very solid. All the jack points are solid, so is the underside the car. The only issue I see under the car is one of the cross members have a bend on it, you can see it on the pictures. The spare tire well is very nice and solid, so is the trunk and the area behind the seats. I don't do body work and this is why I decided to sell the car, because I don't know how to fix the front damage. But I am sad to see her go because the rest of the car is exceptionally solid. The chassis includes all the front suspension, rear axle, and suspension parts. The Duetto also comes with a HARD TOP. The tires all hold air. The back two tires are "roller" quality, while the front two tires have lots of tread left, they are really nice. Please take a look at the pictures, what you see is what you get. Please don't ask me to sell parts off the car. I am hoping to find her a home when she can be restored to her original beauty.
