1971 Buick Skylark 4 door Hardtop, GM green. This Buick is an extremely well running car, and is basically a daily driver. The body and sides are Straight, but it does have its flaws, aka Rust in various spots, but all in all....everything still functions well on this car. No A/C, (2 windows at 55mph). I did put disc brakes on the front and power brakes. The motor was torn down partially and new rings and gaskets were installed in 2009. The transmission and rear end were also torn down partially and looked over, and they too are in perfect working order. It had 90K miles on it at teardown......we ran the odometer to 0 miles and it now has @4600K on it (so roughly 95K miles on the old babe). New tires and Rims were put on in 2009 (I have the original rims to go with the deal). This could be a perfect frame off resto for a family Hot Rod, or just drive it how it is if you like. We have enjoyed this car as a Family! Kids loved riding in the back in car seats. The car drives and feels very safe ( even for 1971 standards). Tough to sell, but I know someone out there will do the right thing and enjoy this old classic like we did. Thanks for Checking it out.
