Vehicle Detail
This is a car you don''t see much of anymore. A 1937 Oldsmobile 2 Door Slantback. It has a Olds 455 engine connected to a 400 Turbo transmission. Car starts and runs good. Previous owner drove it from Tennessee where he bought it to Georgia. It has a Camaro front clip and a 12 bolt Chevy rear. This Olds has Fiberglass Fenders both front and rear with metal running boards and body. It is painted black with hand painted pin stripping and is presentable but certainly not perfect. The interior has black leather bucket seats in front with a center console made and console has a stereo system installed in it. The back seat is also black but is different material but looks good. It has tilt steering along with power steering,. power brakes on the front and power windows. ( Drivers side glass is cracked and needs help going up ) The dash is red as is the headliner. The fuel cell is in the trunk. Underside of car is ok with no major rust issues but the floors has been patched in a couple places. This car with a little loving would make a really nice car. Like I said its rare and not many left. I reserve the right to end auction early as car is also For Sale locally and on other sites. It is sold AS IS with no warranty given or implied in anyway. Pre Sale inspection is welcome and encouraged!! Bid only what you are willing to pay and please don't ask the reserve. It is PRICED TO SELL!!On May-17-14 at 10:19:49 PDT, seller added the following information: I MADE A MISTAKE ON THE FENDERS. I JUST HAD A GUY LOOK AT IT AND THE FENDERS ARE METAL, NOT FIBERGLASS. I DID THE OLD MAGNET TEST. THEY DO HAVE SOME BONDO IN THEM BUT THE MAGNET STUCK TO ABOUT 75% OF THE BACK AND ABOUT 85% OF THE FRONT. AGAIN THE FENDERS ARE STEEL, NOT FIBERGLASS AS STATED IN DESCRIPTION. SORRY FOR THE MISTAKE.
