1977 Chevrolet Corvette L82 - Red exterior with Black Leather interior. I've been working on this car for a while, and I think I'm ready to go ahead and sell it and start a new Corvette project. I couldn't tell you how many hundreds of hours I've spent trying to get this car back to Car Show quality, but I know I'm well over a few hundred hours. I drive it maybe once every couple of weeks, so probably an average of 100 miles a month. The car is stored inside to help preserve all the work I've put into it. It's not exactly an $80K C1 or C2, but given the time and money I've spent, it deserves to be inside. At the time of this listing the car has 93,079 miles; will likely increase due to a lot of local activity on the car. I'm hoping to get enough out of it to do a Stingray project - or feel free to just send me your money as a donation, either one is fine. - Motor was rebuilt at approx 91K miles, work was performed by very qualified mechanics - not shade-tree hacks with a hoist. Q-Jet carb was cleaned and re-tuned once engine was ready- Transmission was cleaned & inspected at the time of the engine work. Shifts exactly like it should for a TH350 - shifts smooth & firm, and at the correct RPM.- There are no hop-ups or performance mods on the engine, tranny, torque tube, drives, suspension or anywhere else for that matter - basic stock components.- No frame rust (don't be misled, frame does have some surface rust like all used cars), no collision damage or warped fiberglass panels.- Car had to be rubbed down, then buffed & polished to get the paint back to this level. Work was performed using 3M and Pinnacle products by professionals. They were not able to get all of the defects out, but the car looks incredible compared to when we started. Has a nice even deep shine.
