Up for sale here is a 2002 BMW 745i that has seen better days. When the starter engages it runs perfect and drives like a low mile car, you would never guess it has the miles it does have. At the moment the starter does need to be replaced, the car will not start until this is changed. THE BAD: The car has also been in an accident, it rear ended a Ford Explorer and did cosmetic damage to the front of the car, no damage was done to the mechanical drivability of the car. From what we can tell the car needs a Bumper, hood, radiator support, headlight tabs are busted (Headlights Still Function), body work on the passenger fender, and the headlight buckets. The car has an ABS/Traction Light ON for an unknown reason (comes and goes). The Brake Pad Light is on, but the pads and rotors were just replaced a few months ago and the light was never cleared. The Park Brake Light is ON (Park Brake does not engage). The Air Bag Light is on for the passenger seat occupancy sensor (Has been that way for 2 years) not related to the accident. Check Engine Light is NOT on, and the car mechanically is great. If the car would start, I would not hesitate to drive it across the country and back. THE GOOD: Everything else works as it should, power seats, windows, sun shades, sunroof, i-Drive, lights, switches, ect... The engine runs great and has no Check Engine Light issues, The Transmission Shifts Flawlessly, and the steering and suspension are tight. Has an upgraded AC Schnitzer Lip kit, and Alpina B7 Roundels. With a little time spent this car could be a great daily driver again. Or with the value of the parts alone you could likely part this out for over $5K easy. The tires are only a few months old, they were new in December. The Brakes were new around the same time. The Battery was Replaced in February. The Oil has Always been changed on time or early with full synthetic. The car is being sold no reserve, I don't have the time to deal with it anymore. I bought an Audi to replace it and am happy letting it go to someone for a fair deal. Please be aware before bidding that you will need to tow this home, do not expect to drive it. It's your responsibility to transport this car home within 10 days of the auction close. I WILL NOT TAKE PAYPAL for the FULL Amount, just the deposit will be accepted through PAYPAL, and within 24hrs. If you can't manage the simple task of getting the small $75 deposit to me within 24hrs then don't bother bidding, it's not that hard.
