To the best of my knowledge this car has not been smoked in. The interior is close to flawless as well. It had been garaged for several years, protected from the weather. Sis put new tires on it and had the car checked by mechanics (all the invoices for this work are in my possession). I drove it only from the street into my garage, where it has not moved since then (i start the engine every now and then to keep the battery charged. One thing i noticed - the steering is not power-steering. Edited 1-27-14: the steering is indeed power .. thanks to a couple viewers for pointing that out! It was suggested the pump may be bad or there is a bad line ... the fluid level is good. Edited 3-5-14: quote from another ebayer "The steering rack on your car is shot. It is dangerous to drive such a car as it can lock up. I know, I've owned about 10 of these cars and replaced 4 steering racks. Please advise that the car be towed, or have the rack replaced - about $300.00."UPDATE (4-9-14): A local potential buyer this week drove the car home and back (40 miles) and found the power steering was working just fine. But he thinks the gas gauge is stuck and maybe other snafus with the dash indicators. Anyway, his wife declined the car (which they wanted for their grand-daughter) referring to it as a "granny car" ... or I should say they felt their grand-daughter would see it that way.
