Selling my 1998 Subaru Legacy Outback. It is the 2.5L engine with a 5-speed manual transmission. The car has NO RUST on the quarter panels unlike most Subaru's. The car is fully loaded with the exception of leather. Heated seats, heated mirrors, cruise, power everything, etc. I recently had a complete service done at Prime Auto Repair in Stanhope NJ in the amount of $1,700. They removed the engine from the car and repaired/replaced (with OEM Subaru parts) the clutch, flywheel, headgaskets, thermostat, radiator, cam seals, intake manifold gaskets, spark plugs, plug wires, battery, fluids. At 150,000 the car had the timing belt, water pump and tensioners done. The tires are in great condition and the car has hot heat and ICE COLD A/C. The interior is quite clean and there are no rips in the seats or carpets. The only thing odd with the Subaru is that you need to double clutch when shifting into 3rd gear otherwise it will grind slightly. The shift lever is tight and precise, not wobbly or disconnected feeling. Come check out the car, you wont be disappointed. It needs nothing and all maintenance is up date.
