Vehicle Detail
I've decided to go ahead and sell my 1998 Camaro Z28 Convertible. I bought this car under the assumption that it was a different option package car and it's not, so I'm just going to sell it and see what I can get out of it. Details:- 1998 Chevy Camaro Z28 Convertible (LS1 engine)- 88,276 miles (may go up a little, seems to be getting a lot of calls locally)- Engine runs very smooth (idles great, take-off is very smooth and direct, shifts as it should) It has a Volant Cold Air Intake installed which does help it breath a little better.- I just got the car back from having the A/C recharged and it is ICE COLD!- Brake pads and rotors look good and grab nicely - don't know the pad wear condition but they look recent judging by the thickness- I checked the oil, PS fluid, brake fluid, coolant level, tranny fluid when I got it, drove it for about 220 miles and checked them again when I got home and nothing had changed so I'm confident there are no issues there.- Seems to do much better on gas than my C5 Corvette does, even though it's basically the same engine -- I was in the high teens/low 20's on average- Power top works smooth, no stuttering or lock-ups (canvas is starting to show some wear around a few of the convertible top frame members, I've discounted the price to reflect this)- All of the dash gauges work, no bouncing or dead needles- Exhaust has a nice deep sound, not obnoxious or offensive, just a nice deep low rumble- Power windows work but I noticed the passenger window is very slow, annoying slow - this is being repaired now, having new window motor installed- Power driver seat works fine, no issues or stripped gears- Interior trim is in really good shape (the CD player had been removed by previous owner but I have the car scheduled to have a brand new Pioneer CD player installed. I'll post picture of it installed once I get it back.)- Exterior finish is in pretty good shape; hood and back decklid are showing some signs of sun damage, but I have that being looked at to see if it can be buffed back- I'm not a fan of large rims, but the Camaro looks pretty good with them. It has Hypersilver 19" ACE rims, wrapped in Bridgestone Potenza rubber. Tires look new, but I can't verify the miles on them- The leather on the driver seat looks pretty good, the leather on the pass seat needs to have the backrest re-stitched. Anyone who is good at a ladder stitch or a back stitch can fix it in about 20 minutes.- Door panels look good, no major defects or flaws, just some wear starting to show in some areas. Car was dropped off this morning to have the interior detailed and see if they could buff & polish the hood and decklid. When you receive the car the interior will be thoroughly clean. I'm not in the business of selling cars, but I'm certain I can get more out of this Camaro than what the stealership offered me. The first serious buyer that has a descent offer with money in-hand owns it. If you have any questions, feel free to message me and I'll respond back as quickly as possible. PAYMENT:I'll need a deposit paid instantly via Paypal and the remaining paid with 3 business days in cash, bank check, certified funds, USPS money order, or ACH/Bank wire. I won't accept paypal for the full amount due to scammers and fraud. I'm willing to worth with you, so if you have some concerns or have a question about payment please let me know. SHIPPING:Buyer is responsible for shipping expense and arrangements, I can help load the car. I can meet your transporter at a local truck stop or grocery store to save them time and hassle.
