Heres a beautiful brand new build. Its a gorgeous 1936 Chevy 50's style showrod. This truck only has 22 miles on it !! We started with a 1936 Chevy short cab pickup with a very clean cab. The bed was custom built to flow with the trucks cab lines and curves. The cab was channeled 8" over the chassis which is completely boxed. She's running an original (rebuilt) '67 327 cu in engine pulled from a corvette backed by a Turbo 350. Its topped with brand new dual 97 carbs. The rear is an 8" from a '68 Torino. The original grill shell was sectioned 4" to flow with the channel of the cab. It retains its original styled flip out windshield. The door glass is in, new, and rolls up and down. For those night time cruises she lights up the road with quad 7" headlights for that 50's style look. The interior is custom gold metalflake and white pleated vinyl. The outside has been covered in a beautiful Gold Rush Metallic paint. The chassis has been smoothed and painted in the same Gold Rush Metallic. She sounds great running through a set of Smithies Glass packs running out of dual chrome exhaust stacks behind the cab. Up front its rolling on a set of Firestone bias ply pinner whites and out back a set of 10" Piecrust whitewall cheater slicks all wrapped around OE chrome steelies. She'll come to a quick stop with the disc brakes up front. This truck is a REAL headturner. Its a very nice custom build. Not a typical ratrod throw together.
