Vehicle Detail
This 1999 Mazda Miata is in great driving condition. I had the engine rebuilt right around 1000 miles ago. It runs and drives like new. The chassis has 203,000 miles but many parts are new. The good: Rebuilt engine by JBD Customz in Gastonia, NC New clutch New timing belt and pulleys New alternator New battery New plug wires 1.125" Racing Beat front swaybar Fat Cat bumpstops Bilstein sport shocks fairly new Federal 595 RS-R tires, though quite sticky, have plenty of tread left Leather package which includes tan leather, Bose AM/FM/CD/Cassette, Torsen limited slip differential The not so good: Normal dents and dings found on a 15 year old car Interior needs new carpet and upholstery Interior plastic needs refinishing Power antenna motor malfunctioning Bose speakers need to be replaced Soft top seals leak On May-04-14 at 22:46:40 PDT, seller added the following information: This 1999 Miata is SCCA Autocross/Solo E-Street Legal. It is set to go as is. The '99 engine may be the most desirable for autocross use because of it's performance potential as compared to earlier NA and NB engines. The stock shocks have been replaced by Bilsteins from the "firm suspension" option. Mounted on these shocks are SCCA Street cateory legal Fat Cat Motorsports bumpstops which effectively increase the spring rate. The large Racing Beat front swaybar really neutralizes the handling making this car a blast thru the autocross or road twisties. This Miata would be an excellent entry point to SCCA Autocross and could be a winner almost immediately. The engine was built by JBD Customz in Gastonia, NC.
