Most of you reading this listing already know how rare it is to find any 1933 Buick Series 50 in any condition. Finding a 1933 Buick Series 50 Victoria Coupe is beyond a rare occurrence. We acquired this wonderful example in a trade recently and have since struggled with the challenge of restoring it or building a resto-rod. When it arrived from the mid-west, we were extremely pleased to see it was very solid and did not have any cancer. The body, fenders, hood, doors and other sheet metal were (are) very straight and no rust or bondo either. The car had been re-painted at some time in the past and retains its stock color code 315 Black/Black and trim code 150. We flushed out the gas tank, rebuilt the carburetor, blasted and shot peened the exhaust manifolds and installed a new battery. The old girl fired right up and did not smoke. Oil pressure rose to 40 psi. We drove it around a bit and it shifts nicely too. The compression is a bit low but a fairly even 80 psi. The radiator has a split at the top of the reservoir and needs to be cleaned out and repaired. We decided to disassemble the car and then decide whether to build a street rod or restore it. We have decided that pressing family and business needs have to come before the Buick and so we are offering it for sale as it is. The interior is in fair shape and the wood is in very good shape too. If it sells, someone will have a great start on a very worthy car. We have two extra wheels for the dual side-mounts that go with it. So here it is, just once and your opportunity to own one of the rarest and most desirable Buicks made.
