2003 Land Rover Discovery SE - Fully Equipped Off-Road Ready Vehicle Up for sale is my 2003 Land Rover Discovery 2. A lot of planning and work went into creating the vehicle you see today. The interior and exterior are in great condition. Many (if not all) of the limitations of this platform have been addressed. The transfer case has been converted to a locking unit (CDL). The front driveshaft has been rebuilt with fully greasable joints. The entire cooling system was overhauled at 130k miles. The ABS module has been repaired. All maintenance has been performed on schedule. The only issues with the vehicle are some slow oil leaks and the infamous ticking/tapping from the engine on warm up. The noise has been there ever since I've owned the vehicle (3.5 years) and has never gotten any worse or caused any problems. No dash lights are present. No overheating issues.
