2000 BMW K1200LT Luxury Touring MotorcycleSelling my 2000 K1200LT with 60K miles. I am the second owner and have owned it since 2007, putting 35K miles on it since then. I have done all routine maintenance such as oil/filter, fluids, tires, battery, and brakes myself, and the dealer has done the dealer-recommended major services including one earlier this year. Receipts including those inherited from first owner are included.This bike has all features as shipped from the factory, including heated seat and grips, CD changer in right saddlebag, motorized windshield, cassette player/radio (I use an iPod playing thru a cassette adapter, but wireless to radio works fine as well). All of this stuff works as new. In addition, the bike has some nice J-pegs and a nearly new Cee Bailey windshield. Tires have only about 2K miles and are around a year old. Engine is strong with no emissions.So what's wrong with it? The clutch is slipping and needs repair. This is not cheap to have done at the dealer (around $1400 parts and labor). I did a similar job on a Goldwing GL1200 some years ago and I swore I would never do another one myself. In the meantime I bought another bike so I am looking to sell this one if I can get a fair price. If I can't I guess I will be making the dealer's house payment and I will have two bikes.A $500 deposit is required within 48 hours of auction close.
