Hello Bidders, Today's auction is for a 1983 Honda CX 650 Turbo, also known as the CX 650 TC. It is the " North American " version. It runs beautifully and has 21K for mileage. The stator, water pump and all the engine seals were replaced and the clutch checked out ok. The master cylinder is sticky, until I work on it this week. The known issues with the bike are as follows, and I drove the bike just today, so this list is current. Fairing has road rash and needs to repaired and repainted. The side covers are intact, except one that has a 2 inch crack on one end, ( see pic ).Need grommets for side covers.There are a few dings in the black metal piece protecting the rider from the exhaust pipe. I am sure there are a few minor things that I probably failed to mention, but the bike starts right up, and runs great. Only issues I see are cosmetic, no real mechanical issues that I can see other than those I addressed. These bikes were imported to the US in 1983, ( the ONLY year ), were not accepted by the American public, and were discontinued the following year. Approximately 1100 of these bikes made it to US Honda dealers in 1983, which makes them VERY RARE. I have the original SHOP MANUAL and the original PARTS List, which will be included. The biggest reported problem with this bike was the stator and front brakes. We just replaced the stator and the brakes will be squared away this week. I have enclosed pics of the bike and the damaged fairing, and a pic of what the bike looks like when it all cleaned up. I am selling this bike as is, meaning the new buyer will have to get the fairing repaired and reinstalled. I will send this bike anywhere on the planet, as long as the receiving government allows the import. Bike will be shipped from the Port of Palm Beach in So. I generally answer emails to me within 4-8 hrs.. With the stator and the front brake being the most problematic issues on the CX650 Turbo, it is known for its countless miles of trouble free service. These bikes are very highly sought after, and will not last long on the auction block. I rolled the bike out of the garage in the sunlight to get better and more detailed pictures for the bidders. I emptied the parts box on a cloth and took a picture for you to look at. I had a meeting with the PO, who is my neighbor, and he told me that the bike was ONLY serviced by professional Honda mechanics with knowledge about the turbo engine. He suggested to me that the thermostat and gas filter be changed, so we are including those with the sale, along with some new gas hose and new clamps. The spoiler is pictured in the photo, but there is a tiny piece missing from the corner,( see pic ). The bike on the driveway and everything on the cloth is what I have for the Honda Turbo. Hope these pics provide you with a little better detailed photos for your inspection. The tires are brand new, just installed actually. MY PREVIOUS NOTE INDICATED I DID LOCATE A FAIRING FOR THE BIKE IN SEATTLE, BUT I WAS LOOKING FOR A SUPER NICE ONE, AND WE FOUND IT ! NOW SHE CAN LOOK LIKE SHE IS SUPPOSED TO LOOK. AS PROMISED, IF THE BIKE SELLS, I WILL INCLUDE THIS AWESOME FAIRING WITH THE SALE. THANKS.
