Central Valley Classics Classic Restorations & Cars For Sale Fresno, California Helping people buy their dreams for over 20 years We are proud to offer this special vehicle for auction! GOOD LUCK AND HAPPY BIDDING! 1967 Ford Mustang Coupe VIN - 7R01A111628 Originally 289 "A" Code V8 Engine Automatic Transmission Factory Air Conditioning Power Steering Manual Brakes Sport Mirrors Chrome Wheels Bucket Seats I have always liked the 67/68 Mustang personally and this one has a lot going for it. This car has been in the same family since 1985, he purchased it and his daughter got to drive it to high school and it was used as a second car up until a couple of years ago. There are receipts for all work, including a fresh 1970 302 engine about 1K miles ago. There is even a log book that has every gas purchase with the miles, rare to see anymore. All that being said it was built in San Jose, sold new in the Los Angeles area and has been in CA it's whole life. The car has been repainted twice but was originally Silver Frost Metallic, a pretty rare color and the same used on the Eleanor Mustang. The engine is a 302 4 bbl, it has installed about 1K miles ago and there is documentation. The transmission is a C4, it shifts well and I think I saw a receipt for work on it a few years ago. The brakes are drum all around but it stops well and they have no pull I detected. The A/C was working but never recharged after the engine swap because of the R-12, it could be converted to R-134 fairly easy. The interior looks all original, there is some wear all around but nothing ripped up The dash pad suffered some warping over time but isn't cracked. The radio was replaced with a CD stereo that works well. The gauges and speedometer seem to function properly. The original steering wheel was replaced with the Grant wood wheel you see. The exterior of the car was repainted twice, once before he got it and once in 06. The paint is glossy but it's not high end quality. The car was originally Silver Frost Metallic, code for on the door tag and there is evidence of the color in the trunk still. The car looks good from 10 feet but close inspection reveal small flaws and chips. I didn't see and signs of prior damage and all the panels line up as they normally did. The chrome and bright work are all intact and in driver condition so they are showing pot metal pitting and chrome fade. All of the glass is in good condition also. It has the really cool American Artillery wheels that look like they could be from the early 70's, still look good and sets it apart from the others. I think anyone would agree that a rust free CA car is the one to own. Overall the car drove well, it had been in storage for the last couple of years but was started weekly until the last few months. I got it into my shop to replace a leaking fuel filter and I replaced the air filter and cleaned it up for the auction. I think this car is a good driver that can be enjoyed as is or taken back to the original color over the winter and you will have one of the prettiest color combinations these were built in.I let you know what I saw and learned so ask questions if there's something I didn't cover. I tried to show the important things in the pictures and have 60 additional pictures so send me your email address if you want to see something in more detail. The car is near my shop so I can get additional pics if I don't already have them. There is a Buy-It-Now and the car brought $10,250 when run last week, it was close to what they want so it will sell with this time. There is no interest in any trades and I welcome inspections, I have the car here and can be viewed at my shop by appointment. The winning bidder will receive a California title, clear of any liens with the car. I can assist with arranging shipping to your location or make recommendations for shipping, of course it can be picked up in person after we have received funds. This car is located in Fresno, CA.
