1963 Chevrolet Biscayne 2 door sedan Street Rat. Comes with 427 cubic inches of nasty big block, a 4 speed and no options. This is a bare bones driver, no radio, no heater. It's not a show car, in fact I'd call it a twenty footer. An amateur restoration, it has it's share of imperfections. But it goes like stink and they'll hear you coming. Rust and body ding repairs were not a priority as both the floor board and trunk floor have been patched with flat sheet metal. Repop floor panels are available through the various Chevy restoration catalogs. Odometer shows 8054 miles but true mileage is unknown. I bought this car last summer and it turns out to not be my cup of tea. That being said, my loss will be your gain. I have a clear Nebraska title for this car and it is located in western Nebraska, zip code 69301. Now the details: Engine is a 1981 454 2 bolt main block, standard bore, with a forged steel 427 crankshaft (6223 casting number), dimple rods and factory forged dome pistons. It has ARP main bolts, double roller timing chain, Comp Cams Magnum solid lifter 11-218-4 camshaft. Heads have all new valves, springs, retainers, and locks, roller tipped rockers, and hardened pushrods. Intake is an Edelbrock 454-R Victor Jr with a 750 Demon carb. Accel dist., MSD wires. Hedman headers and cherry bomb mufflers round out the exhaust. It has a new aluminum radiator that keeps it at 190 degrees all day. Fuel system is all new, tank, tank straps, fuel lines, fuel pump, and sending unit. Brakes are also all new, lines, rear wheel cylinders, shoes and hardware kit, master cylinder, front brake lines, and a disc brake conversion on the front. New steering parts include inner and outer tie rod ends, idler arm, tie rod sleeves, and lower ball joints. The upper A-frame bushings need replaced. Transmission: M20 4 speed, 11 inch clutch, Lakewood bellhousing, Hurst shifter, new u-joints and driveshaft carrier bearing, 3:08 gears, new shocks all the way around. Interior: Looks great. All new carpet, all seats and door panels re-done to appear as stock, replacement headliner installed, Autometer Sport Comp gauges and tach monitor the engine. New windshield, original side glass and rear window, all new gaskets and weather seals. New wiring harness front to back. Battery relocated to trunk. Radio, clock, and heater delete panels in place. Lights work, wipers, horn, and fuel gauge don't. Speedometer has a new cable, but doesn't work. Exterior: Painted Chrysler Sparkle Silver, grille and bumpers painted slightly lighter Mercedes silver to stand out. New hood and chrome in front and rear, original side moldings used, 427 flags on front fenders. New 17” American Torq Thrust II wheels and new Kumho Ecsta SPT tires, 225/50ZR17 in front, and 285/40ZR17's on the rear. Inner headlights removed and replaced with non-functional chromed funnels with rock guards similar to the old race cars, just to look cool. Thanks for looking! No trades!!!
