I have owned this bike for at least ten years. I would use it to run back and forth to my parents house three miles from here. I never had it registered and I DO NOT HAVE A TITLE. Always stored in the dry basement. My parents are both gone now and it has been sitting for too long. It needs to get it's bright orange paint out in the sun again. Build date is 1/75. Mileage shows 3,533 and I have no reason to believe this is not accurate. Starts easily and runs great, smooth as a sewing machine through all five gears. It has all the original lights, blinkers and horn. All lights work except for the rear blinkers. They did at one time but not now. The battery is old and weak but sounds the horn and starts the bike. The neutral light works, the high low beam works, the high beam indicator light on the top of the headlight is blue and lights when the high beam are on. It wears what I would guess to be the original Bridgestone Trail Wings. Some cracking but hold air and took me on a ride just earlier today. There is no rust in the tank as shown in pictures. No dents but some scrapes here and there on the paint but overall still very nice. It has the original tool kit under the seat with the original cover that usually goes missing. It also has the original fuse holder as shown in the pictures. The paint on the front fender has the usual cracking. There is a small hole in the elbow of the exhaust pipe but I would think a good shop could spot weld it closed. The hole is 1\2 the size of my pinky finger nail. I would say there was a previous repair to the headlight ears but the lamp and bucket are solid. No cracks on either that I can see or feel. Every bolt head I can see has the typical Honda 8 showing. I'm no expert but overall this bike looks very original. Please feel free to ask any questions. If you need specific pictures of anything please ask. My reserve is fair and honest.
