Vehicle Detail
Let me first say, I love this bike and am fairly tortured about getting rid of it, but the wife is pregnant and money is gonna be tight. This is my 1976 Honda CB550 and it is nearly 100% stock, original, unrestored. The only things not stock are the front brake line (upgraded to steel for better braking performance) and the handlebars (i put lower profile bars on but have the original bars included with sale). Excellent condition and totally reliable daily ridden bike. All factory stickers still amazingly left on bike and in perfect shape. Original owners manual and toolkit also included and in great shape. I have owned it for 13 years and am the second owner. The odometer reads 21,481 original miles. The only thing that needs repair on the bike is the electric start button. The electric start motor works fine but the actual button broke about a year ago (so cannot operate electric start) and needs to be replaced. The kickstart works perfect and really easy. Cosmetic stuff:Gas tank has slight discoloration near gas cap (i bought it that way). There is a tiny dent in one of the exhaust pipes, about the size of silver dollar. Some light pitting on inside of headlight mounts (all these bikes have it). Also one of the mounts is slightly bent hardly noticeable. The plastic "chrome" trim around bottom of seat is showing some weathering. I reserve the right to end this auction at any time . A PayPal deposit of $500 is required within 48 hours of winning the auction. Balance due in cash at time of pickup. This is for local pickup only unless the buyer makes full shipping arrangements. No Exceptions Here is a link to a video of the bike starting and running: Feel free to ask any questions.
