Up for auction at no reserve is this 1960 R/60. This bike has not been run in several years. We have spent quite a bit of time going through the bike getting it sorted and running properly.It is a numbers matching bike and as far as we can tell is all original and the only missing piece is the horn. We have the horn but it does not work and has been removed from the bike.The bike starts and idles perfectly, it does not smoke and the motor sounds tight. All lights, tail lights and headlight including high beam work.as does the neutral and generator light on the dash.The inside of the gas tank is free of rust and looks very nice.The bike rides and shifts through all the gears very nicely. Clutch action is good and brakes are what you would expect from 1960.The paint looks to be original and at some point the pinstripes have been repainted. Tires are old and I would expect to replace them before spending too much time on the road.This is a very well preserved , unrestored bike that is very presentable.We have performed the following Drop oil pan, reseal and remove any sludge.( inside of motor looked very clean )Adjust valvesChange fluidsRemove and clean carbs and synchSort electrics, replace some wiring to get all lights working.
