THE RESERVE PRICE IS FAIR I THINK FOR THIS CAR. DON'T BID IF YOU DON'T INTENT TO BUY PLEASE. Here is a very nice and very solid Rust Free 1949 Plymouth Special Deluxe 4 Door. It is powered by the original Flathead 6 Cylinder with original 3 speed on the column. This car drives GREAT!! The paint is in good overall with very few hardly noticeable flaws as is the chrome. I believe the car has had only 1 re paint in its life. The rear bumper is above average with the front bumper in a little worst condition but not bad. Very presentable. The interior is in great condition including the seats, headliner and carpet. The dash is remarkable and this car still retains all its original gauges that all still work. Speedometer, gas, oil pressure and temp all work. Even the dash lights still work as do the interior light, headlights, tail lights and brake lights. The undercarriage has not been under coated and has no rust in the floors, braces or trunk area. It has good Poly Plus tires and rides and drives good. You can go 60 - 65 on the hwy and cruise on. Was told the car has 48,000 original miles which shows on the odometer and though I can't prove it, I believe by its condition to be true. It has an oil change sticker on it from 1986 showing 44,000 miles. Original cars like this don't come along everyday so don't miss this beauty.
