This is a re-listing for a car that was previously offered for auction in this venue. A buyer was located in the prior auction, but the two of us have been unable to complete the transaction since. As such, I have placed the car out for sale once again hoping to find another buyer. If you are looking for a vehicle with low original mileage, as well as no damage history, this is the vehicle that you've been looking for. This no reserve auction is for a rare factory turbocharged Miata with low original mileage. About 5000 of these vehicles were manufactured in 2004 and 2005 as the swan song of the NB series Mazda Miata. Highly sought after, these vehicles included 6 speed manual transmissions, a limited slip differential and a unique to the model suspension configuration. While the standard Miata had a mere 142HP, these turbocharged models featured 178HP - and significantly more torque thanks to the turbocharger. This particular Miata was upgraded by the Dealer Alternative facility in New Jersey when it was new. It had both the full intake modification package, and exhaust system upgrades installed at that time. The 'Little Enchilada' package of parts is said to increase the rear wheel horsepower by about 50. The lone item that this vehicle lacks from that overall package is the oversize aftercooler (which allows for more consistent power output during prolonged throttle applications). The major benefit of this engine output increase is that it finally allows for power oversteer to be achieved in the Miata. This car is a blast to drive! With stock interior, exterior and suspension, the car is a real sleeper - while retaining all of the handling prowess of the original Miata from which it was derived! This model's Bose stereo system, with its rear mounted and amplified speakers, allows the radio to be heard clearly with the top down - which is the way that this car was intended to be enjoyed! This is not my first Miata, nor is it likely to be my last. They're great cars that are as reliable as anything ever manufactured. I wouldn't hesitate to drive this car anywhere at a moments notice. The oil and all maintenance has been performed regularly. It also has had hard top attachment points added for easy installation for a factory hard top. The car is in great condition and it has a long life ahead of it with an owner that will enjoy it at least as much as I have!
