Vehicle Detail
This is the first and only time this car will appear on Ebay. So, if you're truly interested, please have your finances in order and Buy It Now or make an offer after you've had your questions answered. You may call 913-461-4890 for questions or email us. We will NOT run this car again here, as we also advertise elsewhere and our cars always find their next owner in short order. * Completely loaded 30 factory option, "P" code Rallye 400 Charger. We've never seen one this loaded and in such good colors. * Very rare, 2-fender tag car, including factory sunroof, power windows, cruise control, AC, rear defogger (super rare item), power disc brakes, power steering, factory AM/FM, rally gages, tach, console, buckets, dual painted racing mirrors, hood pins, white vinyl roof, black rallye stripes, and more. * True FE5 red car with white interior, bringing the best possible color combination to the most loaded big block Charger you will ever find. * Currently running 440 big block, but also comes with its original, numbers-matching 400 that is complete from carb to pan. The 727 auto is the original matching transmission. * Car is highly detailed from top to bottom, including engine bay, undercarriage, and trunk (which still has its original full-size General white letter spare). * Rears quarters were replaced, all other panels appear original. VERY nice floors, trunk, and frame rails. * Front suspension has been gone through recently, including new K-member bushings, tie rods, etc. * 15-inch rallyes with new BFG Radial TAs all around, new front chin spoiler, new complete dual exhaust, new battery, new master cylinder, new trunk mat, etc. * Interior is super clean, with new upholstery and carpet. Dash cluster in excellent condition. Tach works. 3 nice aftermarket gages in working order. "Fasten Seat Belts" light works, as does the annoying (but original!) seat belt buzzer and light on the lower dash. Nice door panels that aren't all chalked out. * This is the very last gasp of Mother Mopar's muscle cars, and is completely loaded top to bottom. You will never find another example with these options and colors. Factory sunroof works well and is a rare and interesting conversation piece. * This is NOT a $50k rotisserie-work-of-art-never-driven kind of car, thus neither is the asking price. If that is what you want, look elsewhere. It is, however, an excellent driver with very nice paint, body, interior, with lots of detailing and very very little left to do. * Minor defects include: Minor exhaust manifold leak that disappears once warm, AC is complete minus one line, cruise control appears all there but is not hooked up, and a few pencil-eraser sized bubbles in lower quarters (must get on hands and knees to see; nothing broken through paint). Please do not ask what the reserve is--this is an auction. KC Classic Cars has made every effort to describe this car accurately, but as with any major purchase, buyers should satisfy themselves as to the condition and accuracy of said statements prior to placing a bid. The title is free and clear and ready to be signed over. We love very nice muscle cars, but please, no trades for shipwrecked boats, dune buggies, or piles of parts. As the car is advertised elsewhere, I reserve the right to end the auction early for any reason whatsoever. If you have no feedback, I will cancel your bid automatically before auction's end if you don't contact me to get clearance to bid--no exceptions! This shouldn't be a problem for most of you, but I must ascertain if you are a serious bidder or not, as I don't want to list the car again. If you have more than 3% negative feedback, your bid will be automatically deleted unless you contact me immediately. I have attempted to identify all the flaws I know of, but please realize you are buying a 40 year old car, and so you should not expect it to be exactly like a 40 day old car! There may be minor flaws or features of the car that I do not catch. I cannot possibly cover every detail that might be a concern to every buyer. The car comes with no warranty of any kind, either express or implied. Like all used cars, you should expect normal wear given its age and mileage. Please be realistic--these are classic cars that can always be changed and improved. I STRONGLY ENCOURAGE you to see the car in person or have it inspected by an independent service if you have any questions or concerns. Please satisfy yourself on the condition of the car before placing your bid! Neither I nor the car have anything to hide, but we cannot possibly know everything that might be of concern to you. We'll be happy to accommodate your request to view the car in person. We want you to be happy with your purchase! This car is sold "as is, where is" with all sales being final. Bidding on this auction constitutes acceptance of these terms in their entirety. Unlike most dealers, I do not charge hundreds in bogus “administration” fees in order to grab a few more dollars off the top. HOWEVER, due to ever-increasing marketing fees, I am now forced to charge every buyer a modest $149 marketing fee to cover these increasing charges. I apologize for having to do this, but it has become unavoidable. If you require paperwork or other items shipped overnight, you will pay for those shipping expenses as well. You'll also have to pay for any extra parts that are too big to fit into the car. But you will never see me charge “dealer prep”, "documentation," “detailing”, “titling” "normal postage" "fuel surcharges" or other bogus fees. You are bidding to buy this car, not to have the right to take a look at it! Your bid is a legal binding contract, and feedback will be left on the winning bidder, good or bad, depending on your actions. I simply do not tolerate game-players, and will enact all remedies available to me. This is not a game for me, so please treat our transaction accordingly. Payment: A non-refundable deposit of $1000 is due within 3 days of auction close. US Certified check, USPS postal money order, bank-to-bank wire transfer, or cash in person. The remainder will be due within 7 days of auction close. Full payment must clear my bank before pick-up. I can arrange for reasonable shipping through a trusted and reliable shipper that I regularly use, but buyer pays all shipping charges unless otherwise noted above. Car must be picked up within 14 days of auction close unless other arrangements are agreed upon. Please email me if you have questions that are not covered by the narrative or pictures. Thanks and good luck!
