This Mustang Convertible has the original 200 1v 16 engine that was rebuilt in November 2004. When the engine was rebuilt it included a new water pump, battery cables, radiator, new rings, gas tank, muffler, new bearings, valve job - including hardened exhaust seats, and bronze guides. The car has less than 8,000 miles since it was rebuilt. The engine runs strong and has no leaks. This is a numbers matching Mustang. The transmission is a C4 Cruis-O-Matic and is original also. It has no issues, slippage, or leaks. This car does not have PS, PB or A/C. Exhaust, brakes and suspension are great. The exhaust system was replaced from the head back, by the previous owner. He also installed Hooker Headers. The previous owner replaced the drum brakes, gas tank, muffler, seat belts, power top, boot, and center consol. I have replaced the tires (brand new), antenna and interior side panels. The body and paint are in really good condition. The car was repainted in 1995 with the original color. Currently there are two tiny chips on the top of the driver’s door and one on the right front fender, and a small scratch above the rear taillight on the passenger's side. The body is solid and straight all the way around, and has the original metal. There are no big scratches, no big chips, no bubbles, no bondo or patching on the entire car. I have some extra parts that I have not yet installed: weather stripping, a cup holder, and the arm- rest supports. These will come with the car, as well as the original owner’s manual. They are not in bad shape and would be replaced just for looks. The car has the original glass and it is clear and great condition. The interior is original (except for the previously mentioned side panels, and I have the originals), which is the Lt. Aqua Crinkle Vinyl and Aqua Rosette Standard Interior. The seats are original, and there is a small tear in the seam of the driver’s seat. The dash and gauges are all original and work great. Like all cars of this age, the steering wheel is cracked in a few places, since it is also original. All lights, heater and wipers work. It has an aftermarket AM/FM cassette player, but the original radio also comes with the car. There are two added speakers and an amp mounted professionally in the trunk. There is a little wear and tear, as she is over 47 years old. I wish I looked so good! I actually appreciate her condition, because then I am not afraid to drive her. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to arrange for pick up or delivery of the car. However delivery may be provided as an option, depending on distance and pre-agreed upon price.
